Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial equipment.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation.
- Support equipment testing, startup, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation activities.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with electrical controls, automation, and industrial equipment.
- Strong PLC programming experience; Allen-Bradley preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens controls is a plus.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of electrical codes and standards such as NEC and NFPA.
- Experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Manufacturing or industrial automation experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a hands-on industrial environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and navigate production areas as needed.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
