The Role
This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be living in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and be comfortable commuting to the office 3 days/week. Open to remote candidates outside the local area who are willing to travel on-site. Candidates will also need to be comfortable with travel throughout our locations in the Caribbean as needed for local project support.
Requirements
- Strong diverse background in industrial automation (40%); electrical power distribution (40%); and electrical and controls drawing generation using AutoCAD (20%)
- Plant automation experience in: PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, Ethernet switches, E-Stops, plant process instrumentation, etc.
- Plant power distribution design experience (primarily 480 V), sizing and applying: switchboards, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, distribution panels, circuit breakers, feeder cables, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting plant electrical and controls issues, and implementing solutions, both on-site and remotely.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization or project.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, ensuring seamless integration and communication across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and application experience with Allen-Bradley Logix PLC and FactoryTalk View SE HMI and Studio 5000 software strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and application experience with Allen-Bradley PowerFlex and Square D Altivar drives preferred.
- Plant electrical equipment installation and wiring supervision experience desired.
- Knowledge of Medium Voltage power distribution, a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical installation design (grounding, cable tray layout, lighting, etc.), a plus.
- Supervisory experience coordinating electrical contractors, a plus.

- Continuous Learning and Development: Encourage continuous learning and professional development to keep up with the latest advancements in technology and industry best practices. This includes obtaining relevant certifications and attending industry conferences and workshops.
