What You'll Do As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will take ownership of controls systems from concept through customer installation. You'll Design electrical control systems for automated packaging machineryProgram and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIsDevelop machine software using Ladder Logic and Structured TextConfigure servo systems, motion control, VFDs, industrial networks, and safety devicesIntegrate machine vision and advanced automation technologiesSupport machine startup, commissioning, and customer installationsWork closely with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and customers to deliver industry-leading equipment solutions Why Join RapidVisionPak? Requirements What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or related field3+ years of Controls Engineering experienceAllen-Bradley PLC programming experience utilizing Studio 5000Experience with Ladder Logic and Structured TextElectrical schematic and control panel design experienceKnowledge of servo systems, motion control, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel approximately 15-20% Ideal Backgrounds Packaging machineryFood processing equipmentAutomated manufacturing equipmentMachine builders/OEMsRobotics or machine vision integrationFDA-regulated manufacturing environments
