Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of electrical construction experience
  • Proven experience in electrical construction, particularly in leadership roles
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and electrical construction standards
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams while maintaining a high standard of work quality
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to getting the job done right

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams of workers, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee daily operations of construction projects, ensuring the quality of work and that all tasks align with project timelines and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including lockout/tagout and other job-specific safety measures.
  • Training & Development: Mentor and guide team members, providing training opportunities to grow their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed according to design specifications and adheres to relevant codes and standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project, ensuring minimal delays and maintaining project flow.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, employee performance, and safety compliance.
