Electrical Construction Project Manager- Minneapolis MN

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from initiation through completion
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost control for multiple concurrent projects
• Cookordinate field operations with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Track progress, resolve field issues, and proactively manage risk and change orders
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project execution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management with a general or electrical contractor
• Experience managing commercial electrical projects across multiple sectors
• Strong background in healthcare, medical facilities, K-12, higher education, government, office, manufacturing, or life sciences preferred
• Prior experience with large institutional or public sector projects
• Proven ability to manage projects with budgets of $1M+
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction documents, and field coordination
• Experience with project scheduling, estimating, cost tracking, and change management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with design-build and plan/spec delivery methods
