Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination support in various areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff.
- Manage all aspects of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes.
- Supervise and direct project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning and coordinating, resolving issues, maintaining company/project policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain change order, submittal, and document control logs within Viewpoint.
- Aid in interactions with subcontractors to ensure correct documentation and drawings for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
- Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under the direction of the Project Manager or Project Engineer.
- Assume temporary total project supervision responsibilities in the absence of the Project Manager.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings and specifications.
- Aid in establishing workflow breakdowns with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
- Aid in ensuring project billings are accurate and submitted timely, monthly, and according to contract documents.
- Aid in writing and submitting quality RFIs.
- Aid in ensuring timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.
- Review and update status of construction schedules as requested by the Project Manager or Project Engineer.
- Aid in setting up project budgets in Viewpoint in conjunction with Field Supervisors.
- Work with the Payroll department to ensure accurate payroll information has been submitted.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in project management or related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range for this position is $80,000-$125,000 annually. Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus. 401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit).
