Responsibilities
- Build and test battery packs including wiring, installing electrical components and mechanical components, potting, etc.
- Operate laser welding machine.
- Perform automated tests of battery health.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other heavy equipment.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely while ensuring quality builds.
- Assemble battery systems on a manufacturing production line, following detailed build instructions.
- Perform visual inspections of parts and finished packs to identify defects or issues.
- Load and unload materials onto the production line and assist with building job kits and organizing components and tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes and communicate suggestions to the broader team.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience in a related field with electronics or mechanical assembly.
- Hands-on experience with building, debugging, testing, and validating electrical systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar tools.
- Experience with common hand and power tools.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift and lift 50 lbs.
- A strong sense of reliability, with a work ethic that supports keeping the production line moving.

- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Familiarity with solar arrays as input power sources.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery handling, safety, and usage.
