Electrical ATE Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Automated Test Equipment Technician to join our growing company. In this role, you will be instrumental in building advanced automated test systems for aircraft electronic and electrical components, adhering to rigorous standards established by third-party OEMs and industry regulations. Collaborating closely with our dedicated shop and design teams, you will play a vital role in achieving the ATE group’s goals and driving our mission forward.

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical schematics proficiently
• Use soldering stations, power supplies, and related equipment
• Wire ARINC and MIL-type connectors
• Use aircraft crimping tools
• Assemble high voltage circuits (1000Vac/Vdc and beyond)
• Create wiring harnesses and interface test adapters
• Assemble complex electronic boxes and units
• Perform thorough dry checks on electrical devices, including harnesses and adapters
• Wire and assemble electrical and electronic units
• Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers globally
• Travel to customer sites for equipment installation
