Electrical Assembly Lead

About the role

The Electrical Assembly Lead position is located at a Regal Rexnord office near Arlington, TX. This is a fully onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time, following company policies, procedures, and values.
• Lead a shift to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Prepare and set up workstations and materials for daily tasks.
• Update and lead daily tier meetings with associates according to RBS standards.
• Follow and enforce work instructions, standards, and specifications.
• Promote and implement Lean manufacturing processes.
• Comply with ISO standards and practices.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
• Foster compliance with EHS procedures, goals, and site initiatives.
• Promote Regal Business Systems (RBS) and values.
• Collaborate on investigations related to safety, quality, and other issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, technical diploma/certification in electrical, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of directly related manufacturing experience in electrical panel/switchgear assembly.
• Experience leading a crew of assemblers/technicians, including assigning work, giving instructions, coaching, and providing performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge in low/medium voltage switchgear assembly, wiring, and testing, including reading complex electric schematics and work instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve practical electrical and mechanical problems on the line with limited standardization or precedent.

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully complete employer-provided training during the first 6 weeks of onboarding; company will assist with travel documentation as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.
• Able to accurately prepare and enter data into spreadsheets.
• Able to work overtime when required.

Pay

$29-35/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 5:45AM-4:15PM
