Mechanical Assembly Lead

Essential Functions

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks in accordance with written instructions and specifications.
• Cook up daily activities and task assignments within the mechanical assembly team.
• Support team members by answering questions, clarifying instructions, and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Ensure any deviations from written instructions are documented and communicated to the floor supervisor and manufacturing engineer.
• Help maintain production flow and meet schedule targets by working alongside the team.
• Train and mentor new assemblers on tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Conduct informal quality checks and help identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of assembly processes, deviations, and feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.

Education And Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or production operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, components, and assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

Non-exempt
Full-Time
Hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm (Hours subject to change depending on the needs of the business)
