Job Summary
The Electrical Assembler will perform assembly, inspection, and modification of electromechanical equipment in a clean room manufacturing environment. This position requires working onsite and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will have strong soldering experience, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify electromechanical subassemblies following work instructions and process plans.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform self-inspection of completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Utilize fixtures to accurately build assemblies.
- Inspect parts and materials for defects before use.
- Manually solder or apply epoxy to electrical components.
- Operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic Pick & Place (P&P) machines, and automated measurement systems.
- Work in a clean room manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate production records using MRP and data collection systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing production environments.
- Ability to become solder certified.
Required Skills
- Soldering experience.

- Production assembly experience.
- Strong quality inspection skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 Certification.
- J-STD Certification.
- Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.

- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
- Pick & Place machine operation.
- Solder reflow oven operation.
- MRP systems and production data collection.
