Electrical Assembler

Job Requirements

• Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions.
• Lays out pushbutton stations, assembles and wires.
• Lays out and assembles control panels.
• Performs basic motor wiring.
• Assembles and wires electric components.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Utilizes overhead crane and rigging procedures.
• Maintains a clean work area.

Occasional Job Responsibilities

• Locates parts, stocks parts, deburr, and maintains workspace cleanliness.
• Participates in department clean-up and improvement projects.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and make metric system conversions.
• Reading and Understanding: Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
• Driving: Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills.
• Computer Skills: Ability to navigate CAD documents preferred.
• Travel: Ability to travel internationally and domestically preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Protective Clothing: Protective clothing required (e.g. safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection).
• Physical Demands: Occasional walking, sitting, talking, and listening; use of feet to operate.
