Essential Functions
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems.
- Position, align, and install subassemblies, wiring, and components such as inverters, drives, PLC’s, and relays on enclosures and sub panels according to layout and wiring diagrams.
- Drill, tap, screw, crimp, bolt, solder to join or secure parts, mount control units.
- Route, secure, interconnect and terminate wiring.
- Use testing devices such as ohm meters, voltmeters.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical problems and conduct repairs as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours.
- Absorb floor stock requirements and report low stock levels.
- Perform electromechanical and assembly functions using hand or power tools.
- Inspect and pass assembled product on the assembly process.
- Work as individual or as part of a team.
- Be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- May be required to work overtime, if schedule dictates it.
Non-essential Functions
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and balance.
- Frequent required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Prepare special reports, as needed.
- Maintain files and records.
- Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by actively participating in company safety programs.
- Comply with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.
