About the role

The Education & Workforce Development Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to enhance workforce development and education in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs tailored to meet the needs of the community.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to identify workforce development needs and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver training sessions on various topics related to workforce development.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with other department staff to ensure comprehensive support for workforce development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in workforce development or education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
  • Experience in curriculum design and delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
