About the Role
Seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical power and control systems in an industrial setting. Key duties include servicing LV/MV motors, switchgear, PLC systems, and instrumentation, as well as assisting with preventative maintenance and working with contractor personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Assist in preventative maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with contractors and team members.
- Contribute to cost-reduction and productivity initiatives.
- Participate in training and cross-training programs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and hazards are mitigated.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to environmental policies.
- Support team meetings and perform assigned tasks, including work on rotating shifts and on-call duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use PPE properly.
- Strong communication skills and a safety-conscious mindset.
