Electrical and Instr. Tech II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical and control systems, including motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, UPS/battery systems, rotating equipment, and associated plant electrical tools

Requirements

• A minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; will drive company vehicle at plant
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
• Able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment readings, test results, and maintenance activities
• Able to perform emergency troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration, programming, and maintenance of electrical, controls, pneumatic, electronic, low-/medium-voltage, and process control systems
• Maintain plant electrical and control systems to maximize safety, reliability, efficiency, and availability
• Diagnose electrical issues, implement corrective actions, and coordinate vendor or engineering support as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs, water and gas analyzers, gas and solid fuel-fired boiler controls, and turbine controls

Skills

• Electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Emergency troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration, programming, and maintenance of electrical, controls, pneumatic, electronic, low-/medium-voltage, and process control systems

Pay

• Hourly Range: $33.41 to $51.19 USD hourly

Schedule

• Attendance at a worksite on a daily basis required
