Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and project plans.
- Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
- Coincide with coworkers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and service records.
- Monitor tools, materials, equipment, and job site conditions.
- Support project timelines and assist less experienced technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience.
- Commercial electrical experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Electrical certifications or licenses preferred, and required where applicable.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, safety practices, and electrical codes.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Travel to and between job sites as needed.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders/stairs, crawl, reach, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying job site conditions.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
- Must have dependable transportation and reliable attendance.
- Overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends may be required.
