Electric Resilience Fall Co-op

About the role

The Substation Construction Intern/Co-op will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of electric substation capital projects. The position will work alongside construction professionals and gain exposure to project coordination, field construction, safety, quality, scheduling, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Coordinators and Supervisors with substation construction projects.
• Assist with tracking project schedules, milestones, materials, and construction activities.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, and construction records.
• Participate in project meetings, field visits, and construction progress reviews.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Operations, contractors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Valid/current driver’s license.
