Pay
Poll Officials are paid $150 per Election Day worked and $30 per mandatory online training class completed.
Schedule
Must be available to work 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or until the last voter has voted and all precinct work is completed) on Election Day.
Qualifications
- A registered Davidson County voter (if 18 or older)
- At least 16 years old and a resident of Davidson County
- Must be able to complete mandatory online training
- Must be able to read and write in the English language
- Must provide own transportation to and from training and assigned work location
- Must be able to work 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or until the last voter has voted and all precinct work is completed) on Election Day

Benefits
- Full-time, Civil Service positions: 10 Vacation Days per year (increasing after 5 years of service), 1 Sick Day per month, 12 Paid Holidays per year
- Public Safety - Sworn and Civilian positions: 20 Vacation Days per year, 3 Personal days per year, 1 Sick Day per month, 12 Paid Holidays per year
- Seasonal/Temporary positions: No benefits offered.
