Elder Clinical Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in the delivery of care.
• Delegates medical acts to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in accordance with the Wisconsin Board of Nursing rules on delegation.
• Assists with maintaining processes, policies, procedures, and protocols to assure care is delivered in an effective, safe, high-quality manner.
• Completes chart audits to assure quality care and quality improvement.
• Coordinates and manages care plan meetings with residents and family members.
• Completes performance appraisals on all nursing staff.
• Reports potential or actual resident safety concerns, medical errors, and/or near misses in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing.
• Wisconsin Licensed Registered Nurse required.
• Two years of patient care experience in a medical setting, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based operating systems and EHR programs.
• Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
• Proof of immunizations is required; immunizations/testing provided upon hire.
