Elastography Technician
Florida Digestive Health Specialists (FDHS) is seeking a motivated and dependable Elastography Technician to join our growing team. This position performs non-invasive liver elastography examinations using specialized iLivTouch technology to assist providers in evaluating liver health. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working independently, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service. FDHS provides comprehensive training on the iLivTouch elastography system. This role requires travel between multiple clinic locations throughout the Tampa region.

Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive liver elastography examinations using iLivTouch equipment in accordance with established clinical protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring a positive, professional, and compassionate experience.
- Accurately document patient information and procedure details in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
- Save and maintain scan images according to established procedures.
- Complete procedure documentation and read templates accurately and in a timely manner.
- Deliver completed scans and supporting documentation to the appropriate referring Office Administrator (OA).
- Travel to multiple FDHS clinic locations as scheduled to provide elastography services.
- Safely transport elastography equipment between assigned clinic locations.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and notify management of any operational or maintenance concerns.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and patient safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, filing, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare, medical assistant, diagnostic imaging, or medical office experience preferred.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR), preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW), is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to accept feedback and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly between FDHS clinic locations throughout the Tampa region.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely lift, transport, and set up elastography equipment at multiple clinic locations.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate medical equipment and computer systems.
- Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel between multiple office locations throughout the workday.
- Work is performed in medical office and outpatient clinical environments with moderate noise levels.
