About the role
The Enhanced Living Nursing Assistant/Med Tech is charged with providing essential support to the Enhanced Living residents and will assist with medication administration and treatments in accordance with the Department of Human Services Personal Care Home regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support residents to be as independent as possible
- Aid residents with personal hygiene
- Transfer residents as needed
- Assist with treatments and therapies
- Ensure residents take their medications
- Serve as a role model for all Nursing Assistants
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of certification from the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course
- Ability to provide appropriate documentation for Med Tech certification
- Prior 1 year of Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant (PCA) experience preferred
- Formal nursing assistant and med tech training preferred
