About the role

Avista Senior Living in Payson, AZ is seeking Med Techs to join their growing team. They are a team that values Kindness Counts, providing loving care to Memory Care residents.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, positioning, transfers, and mobility within the guidelines of state law and company policies and procedures.
• Assist all residents in participating in planned activity programs seven days per week.
• Prepare, assist with, and document the administration of medication to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse and in strict compliance with state regulations and physician's orders.
• Prepare residents for meals and snacks and assist them in dining room.
• Keep proper records of care given.
• Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and corridors as outlined in housekeeping procedures. Ensure all areas are safe.
• Attend all required in-service training.
• Comply with and understand all resident rights.
• Communicate all pertinent information to the Director of Nursing.
• Communicate with oncoming shifts to ensure follow-through of duties.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid Caregivers Certificate or CNA license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Fingerprint clearance card.
• Current TB or CXR (able to provide upon hiring).
• Three references: two personal and one professional.
