EKG Technician - Per Diem Wknds - Cardiology

About the Role

We're hiring an EKG Technician on a per diem basis to join our Diagnostic Cardiology Team in a dynamic, high-energy environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by helping patients and working as part of a fast-paced, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitors, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring on inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
• Follow established standards and policies for non-invasive cardiology testing.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Previous EKG technician experience.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to learn ECG recording fundamentals, medical terminology, and other non-invasive cardiology testing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good computer knowledge.
