EKG Technician, Per Diem

About the Role

Performs cardiology procedures with meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality studies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proper technique for performing routine ECGs.
• Acquire Signal Average ECGs according to physician specifications.
• Apply 24-hour Holter monitors, using test strips to ensure proper recording.
• Operate Holter scanning equipment, thoroughly analyze scans, recognize significant data, and document representative strips.
• Demonstrate ability to apply event recorders.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience of at least one year preferred.
• Ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
