EIS (San Bernardino Metro)

About the role

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) in San Bernardino County, specifically in the city of San Bernardino Metro Areas (San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, & surrounding areas). This position is available as a part-time or full-time opening, requiring 20+ client hours per week, plus drive time between sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement personalized family-focused treatment programs for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developing developmental disabilities.
• Work with children in family homes using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help them reach their developmental milestones.
• Conduct home visits within the I-10 FWY Areas, including San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a mix of in-person and virtual services based on client/family needs or preferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field).
• Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant/Toddler Child Development.
• Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years.
• Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred.
• Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius).
• Maintenance of current Vehicle Insurance & Registration.
• Maintenance of current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult).
• Maintenance of current TB Test.

Pay

The position offers an hourly rate between $20-$29 per hour, determined based on applicant's level of education and experience.
