EHS Specialist

About the role

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility in LaVergne, Tennessee. This facility is a Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of site-level EHS and ISO programs in alignment with Group policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with the collection and reporting of EHS data to meet federal, state, and company requirements
• Participate in compliance evaluations, document reviews, risk awareness initiatives, audits, and inspections
• Support incident investigations and follow-up actions
• Auxiliary in delivering EHS and ISO training to individuals and teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Associates' Degree in a business or science field
• Experience collecting, organizing, evaluating, and reporting data for EHS and ISO programs
• Proficient computer skills using Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
• Understanding of and experience working with ISO systems (9001, 14001 & 45001)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
