About the role
The EHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role involves conducting audits, developing policies, and training employees on safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular environmental, health, and safety audits across all company facilities.
- Develop and implement new safety policies and procedures based on regulatory changes and best practices.
- Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Coordinate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain records related to environmental, health, and safety activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS management or related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually.
