EHS Specialist
About the role
Tarkett is looking for an EHS Specialist to join our talented team. This role will help develop, establish, and maintain an environmental health and safety program that strives to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements, and provides for a safe work environment that is free of hazards in pursuit of zero work‑related injuries/illnesses, using a behavioral‑based approach. This position will be based in our Tarkett Hospitality location and will report to the site EHS Manager.

Responsibilities
- Assists with all aspects of the Environmental Health and Safety program.
- Assist in ensuring compliance to all Safe Work Practices (SWP), regulatory standards (EPA, OSHA, NFPA, etc.) and plant policies and procedures.
- Conduct training/assessments/audits/investigations as an important part of the World Class Manufacturing management system.
- Assist with the ISO 14001 / 18001 EHS requirements
