About the role
The role supports implementation and continuous improvement programs designed to ensure a safe, healthy, incident-free, and secure work environment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive a safe culture and maintain the organization's commitment to regulatory compliance and employee well-being.
- Oversee general security systems, including controlled access and video surveillance systems with the support of the IT function.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 1-2+ years of professional experience in an EHS, environmental compliance, or occupational safety role; Prior experience in a manufacturing/production or an industrial setting is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and applicable state/local requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations, and EHS training delivery.
- Certifications: Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential is a plus. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification is a plus.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
