EHS Specialist
Job Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist's main responsibility is to ensure that the day-to-day environmental and safety activities are being completed per the site Environmental Health and Safety Plan. This position will also be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of safety and environmental compliance, company training program.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Computer knowledge and skills, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and EHS management software such as Gensuite
- Ability to work independently and a good attention to detail
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required
- Ability to work effectively even under pressure
- Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook
Required Experience And Education
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in EHS related field preferred
- Prioritize some experience with environmental and safety within a manufacturing environment
Salary Range
$53,000 to $84,000
