Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.
Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Oversee product compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., Food Safety, ISO, FDA, OSHA).
Lead audits, inspections, and supplier quality assessments.
Train employees on quality standards, tools, and problem-solving methods.
Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures compliant with regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
Provide safety training and promote a strong safety culture.
Maintain accurate incident and compliance records.
Lead plant or operational CI initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or tooling solutions.
Embed internal control programs into daily operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational risk reduction and efficiency gains.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial, or quality management; MBA preferred, or demonstrated work experience in manufacturing setting (5-10 yrs)
Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control, and risk-based governance.
Expertise in safety compliance, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
Proficiency in lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen tools.
Project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Skills
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control, and risk-based governance.
Expertise in safety compliance, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
Proficiency in lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen tools.

$80,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
