About the role
As an EHS Project Manager/Director at Alstom, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and environmental sustainability of our projects. You will manage and coordinate all aspects of environmental health and safety programs, including planning, implementation, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies and plans for assigned projects
- Oversee the execution of EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage EHS audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into project design and delivery
- Lead EHS training programs for project team members and stakeholders
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to senior management
- Ensure all project activities comply with local, national, and international EHS regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Health, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in EHS management, preferably within the transportation or infrastructure sector
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in leading EHS audits and assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.) preferred
- Experience with EHS software tools and platforms
- Knowledge of international EHS standards and best practices

Pay
- $100,000 - $150,000 annually
