Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Safety Programs
- Conduct Safety Audits
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Manage Incident Reporting
- Perform Root Cause Analysis
- Auxiliary Worker’s Compensation
- Manage Hazardous Materials and Waste Management
- Maintain Industrial Hygiene
- Conduct Ergonomic Assessments
- Coordinate with Regulatory Agencies
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance
- Lead Safety Committees
- Care for Emergency Preparedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, or a related field
- 5 or more years of experience in EHS management, preferably in manufacturing
- Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools for tracking compliance and reporting
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to prioritize safety and environmental responsibility
- Ability to operate a computer and software including Microsoft Office, EHS management and training software
- Motivated, self-managed professional with the ability to anticipate and react to the needs of multiple managers and organizational needs without direct supervision
- Preferred: Advanced Certifications (Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM))
