About the role
The role of EHS Director involves overseeing environmental, health, and safety policies and practices within a company. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, conducting regular audits, and training employees on safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams to address workplace safety issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting EHS practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing EHS programs.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Experience in risk assessment and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
