EHS Director

About the role

The role of EHS Director involves overseeing environmental, health, and safety policies and practices within a company. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, conducting regular audits, and training employees on safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with legal and HR teams to address workplace safety issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting EHS practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing EHS programs.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Experience in risk assessment and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule
