EHS Coordinator - Pipeline

About the role

Select's EHS Coordinator provides safety support to operational service lines by promoting a strong safety culture, delivering new hire safety training, monitoring pipeline construction activities to identify and eliminate hazards, and reinforcing company safety policies and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training programs educating staff on environmental concerns or health and safety risks found in the organization.
• Ensures that training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports, or other documentation are appropriately maintained.
• Purchases and distributes personal protection equipment or other related supplies.
• Maintains awareness of health, safety, or environmental hazards, such as noise, air, or wastewater pollution levels.
• Coordinates inspections of facilities, vehicles, or equipment.
• Aids in the development and communication of facility-specific emergency response or evacuation plans.

Requirements

• Bilingual strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction strongly preferred.
• OSHA 510 Construction strongly preferred.
• 0 to 2 years related working experience is required.
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and complete competing assignments within required timeframes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle in accordance to Select’s insurance guidelines.
