EHS Coordinator

Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations through regular inspections to ensure the facility meets OSHA, local, and company EHS regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and provide solutions to mitigate risks and ensure the proper use of PPE.
• Maintain all EHS-related records, including safety logs, incident reports, and relevant documentation.
• Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
• Cook incident reporting and lead Root Cause Analysis for accidents.
• Drive the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in or organize safety meetings to promote a proactive safety culture and align site activities with company goals.
• Facilitate EHS training programs, such as safety orientation for new hires, specialized equipment training, and emergency response drills.
• Serve as a key point of contact for emergencies, ensuring first aid supplies are stocked, and evacuation plans are communicated and tested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field preferred
• Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in the EHS-related field
• Strong Knowledge of OSHA regulations is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• OSHA 10/30-hour card is a plus
• Experience in managing forklift safety training and certification programs is a plus
• Train-the-Trainer certification is a plus

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating industrial environments
• Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and multi-meters
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to distinguish wire colors and read technical labels
• Comfortable working on ladders or in confined spaces
• Work performed in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
