Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day operations through regular inspections to ensure the facility meets OSHA, local, and company EHS regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and provide solutions to mitigate risks and ensure the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain all EHS-related records, including safety logs, incident reports, and relevant documentation.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
- Cook incident reporting and lead Root Cause Analysis for accidents.
- Drive the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in or organize safety meetings to promote a proactive safety culture and align site activities with company goals.
- Facilitate EHS training programs, such as safety orientation for new hires, specialized equipment training, and emergency response drills.
- Serve as a key point of contact for emergencies, ensuring first aid supplies are stocked, and evacuation plans are communicated and tested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field preferred
- Master’s degree is a plus
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in the EHS-related field
- Strong Knowledge of OSHA regulations is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 10/30-hour card is a plus
- Experience in managing forklift safety training and certification programs is a plus
- Train-the-Trainer certification is a plus
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating industrial environments
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and multi-meters
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to distinguish wire colors and read technical labels
- Comfortable working on ladders or in confined spaces
- Work performed in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
