EHR Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete EHR projects involving planning, workflow analysis, configuration, design, and training of EHR software enhancements.
- Deliver on set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of multiple projects in unison.
- Oversee database configuration ensuring all dependent workflows (RCM, Reporting/Analytics, Interfaces, MIPS, HIPAA/Compliance, Accreditation, Product Activation within eCW) are accounted for in the design.
- Proactively create a plan of action to remedy existing opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure appropriate resources are available to provide training, support, and successful handoff to internal support team.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring dependent project timelines are met and communicated.
- Maintain performance of systems and processes; identify and resolve problems; prepare and complete action plans; complete audits ensuring continuous improvement.
- Prepare department performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Coordinate department tasks and special projects to ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Serve on committees as department representative.
- Achieve organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishments and exploring opportunities to add value.
Requirements
- 5 years of healthcare experience specializing in EHR configuration, implementation, and support.
- Experience in basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit etc.).
Education/Training
- H.S. Diploma
- College Degree (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
