Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete EHR projects involving planning, workflow analysis, configuration, design, and training of EHR software enhancements.
• Deliver on set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of multiple projects in unison.
• Oversee database configuration ensuring all dependent workflows (RCM, Reporting/Analytics, Interfaces, MIPS, HIPAA/Compliance, Accreditation, Product Activation within eCW) are accounted for in the design.
• Proactively create a plan of action to remedy existing opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure appropriate resources are available to provide training, support, and successful handoff to internal support team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring dependent project timelines are met and communicated.
• Maintain performance of systems and processes; identify and resolve problems; prepare and complete action plans; complete audits ensuring continuous improvement.
• Prepare department performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Coordinate department tasks and special projects to ensure quality and timelines are met.
• Serve on committees as department representative.
• Achieve organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishments and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• 5 years of healthcare experience specializing in EHR configuration, implementation, and support.
• Experience in basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit etc.).

Education/Training

• H.S. Diploma
• College Degree (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
