Responsibilities
- Drive real change – Participate in and strengthen a proactive safety culture, not just maintain programs
- Build relationships – Work cross-functionally with teams at all levels to improve safety outcomes together
- Grow your expertise – Gain exposure to environmental, health, and safety systems across a global organization
- Influence how work is done, how risks are managed, and how leaders lead
- Be a trusted partner on the floor, coaching and supporting leaders and employees on safe work practices
- Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring we learn and improve—not just document
- Deliver and facilitate engaging safety and compliance training that actually sticks
- Maintain regulatory compliance while keeping things practical and actionable
- Collaborate across teams to drive improvements in safety performance and metrics
- Serve as a key connection point with external agencies and emergency responders when needed

Qualifications
- A minimum of an associate degree with a preferred concentration in environmental or safety
- Or the equivalent of relevant experience in the field
- Knowledge of OSHA, DEC, EPA and DOT HAZMAT regulations and compliance requirements

- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering training to small groups

Pay
The hiring range for this position is typically $60,000 - $88,000 annually. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
Schedule

While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
