About the role
The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician. During the testing process, the technician gathers a patient's medical history, explains the procedures, prepares the patient, monitors the patient's status during the test, notes any abnormalities, and reports findings to the patient's doctor.
Responsibilities
- Gather a patient's medical history
- Explain testing procedures to patients
- Prepare patients for the procedure
- Maintain patient status during the test
- Note any abnormalities observed
- Report findings to the patient's doctor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Board registration within one year from date of hire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Prior EEG Technician experience strongly preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $28.41 - $49.89 per hour.
