EEG Technician
About the role
This position involves obtaining electrophysiological data from patients using medical instrumentation and computers.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and interpret electrophysiological data from patients using medical instrumentation and computers.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data collected.
- Document findings and communicate results to healthcare providers.
- May assist in maintaining and calibrating medical equipment.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with emphasis in the human sciences.
- Completion of a training course in EEG approved by the Director.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 6 months of related experience and/or training.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in the human sciences, completion of a training course in EEG approved by the Director, and 6 months of related experience and/or training.
Skills
Essential skills include proficiency in medical instrumentation, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $39.00 - $59.74 per hour.
Schedule
This position is available on a per-diem basis.
