Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all exams in the EEG department.
- Document exams done in the department.
- Avoid compromising patient confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and personal actions.
- Maintain an accurate filing system.
- Handle in-patient and out-patient reports and direct them to the appropriate destination.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.
- Maintain equipment in good working order.
- Participate in department and hospital-wide Process Improvement Activities.
Education, Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses, Certifications
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T) Certification - Required.
- Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM) - Preferred.
