About the role

The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist will perform neurodiagnostic studies under the direction of the neurologist in accordance with the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) guidelines. This position takes a lead role in training and educating existing and/or new EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska while working collaboratively with the manager and medical director of the program.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurodiagnostic studies following ASET guidelines.
• Lead training and education for existing and new EEG students.
• Collaborate with the program manager and medical director.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of experience performing procedures in a patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $31.71 - $49.22 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, variable shift.

Work Location: Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage.
