EEG Tech PRN

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.

About the role

The EEG Tech functions as a resource person to physicians, staff, family members, and hospital personnel. You will prepare patients and perform Electroencephalograms, Ambulatory EEGs, BAERs, VEPs, and other tests within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the department.
• Operate EEG, EMG, and Evoked Potential equipment.
• Maintain patient files.
• Reconcile procedure and supply charges.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• National credentials by the ABRET for REEGT preferred.
• Completion of ABRET program preferred.
• One year of experience as an EEG tech preferred.
• Ability to work on a PRN basis.
