Duties and responsibilities

• Counsults with physicians to conduct routine and advanced testing
• Ensures quality testing through equipment verification and troubleshooting
• Organizes workload to prioritize quality and efficiency
• Provides patient instruction and evaluates responses
• Responds appropriately to emergencies
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months clinical experience in electroneurodiagnostics (preferred)
• Graduation from an AMA EEG program (preferred)
• Successful completion of CBOT within 90 days of probationary period
• American Heart Association CPR certification required at time of hire

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking, standing, use of arms and hands
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull 20 lbs.
• Auditory and visual skills to include color determination
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to reach above/overhead

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards

• Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment
