EEG Tech Per Diem / Mount Holly
Summary
The neurology technologist is responsible for providing various adult electroencephalogram studies (routine, sleep deprived, LTM), as ordered by a physician. This individual (if registered) will provide clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures. In addition, this individual will act as a super-user/system administrator for the NATUS digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems.
Position Responsibilities
- Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
- Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
- Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Requirement
- Clinical Routine-LTM EEG experience preferred.
- Knowledge of NATUS EEG systems preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC Preferred
Required Education
- High school education.
- College education preferred.
R.EEG.T Registry Exam Eligibility
- R.EEG.T Registry exam eligibility via ABRET Pathway required.
EEG Registry Requirement
- EEG registry required within one year of employment.
Training/Certifications/Licensure
- BLS.
- EEG registry required within one year of hire.
Pay
The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Schedule
- Weekend call in a rotation required.
- One for 7:30am to 6:00pm weekend call rotation every 6 weeks covering Memorial-Marlton-Voorhees location for LTM only.
- One for 7:30am to 6:00pm onsite Monday and Friday required every 4 weeks Memorial location.
