About the role
Performs high quality EEGs (routine and video), seizure monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Scans, correlates, and clips study information.
- Facilitates all aspects of study completion and reporting within the department.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in the performance of EEG procedures OR graduate from an accredited program.
- Certified as a Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R. EEG T.) or board eligible by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited ENDT program or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
