EEG Neurodiagnostic Tech PRN
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. Primary function is to run diagnostic tests to assist doctors with their diagnoses. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will:
- Preparation of EEG and administration of EEG exams
- Post exam duties: Accurately processes and files EEG reports.
- Accurately and efficiently processes EEG and PFT reports in a timely manner and maintains logs of all transcribed reports.
- Assist with Blood Gas Laboratory data entry to include normal/critical value ABG log, outstanding lab specimen correction and RT lab personnel license board.
- Assist with the layout, proofing and distribution of the RT Times.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- National Certification for EEG Completion of an accredited school for Neuro-diagnostics - strongly preferred
- Applicable work experience and clinical competency may substitute for education
- A minimum of one year experience - highly preferred
- BLS or BCLS required or to be obtained within 30 days of start date
