About the role
Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs for local school districts. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and provide peace of mind to families.
Responsibilities
- Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
- Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
- Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting.
- First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
- Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
- Proof of MMR (documentation can be provided).
- 18+ years of age.
- Proof of High School diploma/GED.
