About the role

Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role supports the mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
  • Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
  • Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel, with outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Teamwork: Work well in a team environment and support additional local programs as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting.
  • First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
  • Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
  • Proof of MMR (documentation can be provided).
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

$15-18/hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Mon-Fri: 7:00 AM-8:15 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, Wed: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
